How does the build process work for headlights and tail lights?
After you place your order, we will email you to confirm your build as well as provide an ETA of when your build will be complete. If you selected the option to send in or drop off a pair of headlights, we will provide you with instructions on how to get your headlights to us. If you selected the option for us to source new headlights, there is nothing more that needs to be done on your end. Please note, all builds are processed in the order that they are received.
For custom builds that are not listed on the website, you can fill out our New Custom Build Form. If you are not sure what you want, we can help you brainstorm some ideas! After we are set on the build that you want and pricing, we will invoice you for the total build cost. Once payment is received, we will secure your spot on the schedule and begin sourcing parts.
Do you guys work on all types of cars? What if I don't see headlights for my car on the website?
Yes, we welcome all builds from A to Z!

Are all the builds on the site in stock?
No, custom builds are exactly that, custom, so we cannot stock most headlight or tail light builds due to every build being tailored specifically to your needs.
If I selected the "I will be shipping my headlights" option, do I need to pay to have them shipped?
Yes, you will need to cover whatever the shipping cost are for shipping your headlights to us.
If you are local to DFW and do not want to pay shipping, we do offer local pick up services for a pick up fee.
How long does it take to build my lights?
While we strive to complete builds as fast as possible, GMSLICKBUILDZ is currently a one man team. With that being said, we complete most headlight and tail lights builds within 4 - 6 weeks of receiving all the parts needed to complete your build, however, this can vary depending on the amount of orders at any given time. If we encounter any significant delays, we will inform you right away and offer a full refund if you do not wish to wait. We really do appreciate your understanding and patience.
Can I return or cancel my order?
Any custom headlight or tail light builds CANNOT be returned or canceled as they take a great amount of effort and time to complete. If a build is damaged during shipping, we will explore return options.
Any prebuilt set of headlights or tail lights can be returned as long as they have not been installed on a car or tampered with. The headlights or tail lights must be in the same condition that they were when we shipped them out to you. You are responsible for any return shipping costs. Items such as controllers, retrofit parts, etc. can be returned as long as they have not been installed or tampered with. After we inspect the item(s), we will issue a refund within 5 days of receiving the item(s).
All orders EXCEPT custom headlight, custom tail light, and Blueghozt controllers can be canceled as long as the request is submitted within 12 hours of placing your order. All cancellations for other products are subject to a 20% cancellation fee if the request was submitted after the 12 hour grace period.
Does my purchase come with warranty?
All custom headlight and tail lights builds come with a 1 year warranty on both our work and parts used in the build (halos, strips, etc). If a warranty claim is needed for one of our custom builds, we will have to get your headlight or tail lights back so that we diagnose and address the issue. Customer is resposible for shippingg cost to return items for warranty work. Return shipping to the customer for warranty claims is covered by us. We CANNOT warranty any custom headlight or tail lights builds that failed due to improper installation or care (no caps on the back of the headlights, missing fender liners and/or splash shield, etc).
Every headlight and tail light goes through a detailed inspection prior to shipping and upon arriving to us, so if you attempt to lie to us just so that you can get a free replacement or repair, we will find this out and your warranty will be voided.
All other item(s) such as controllers, halos, etc. have a 1 year warranty. If they fail within that time frame and our troubleshooting suggestions did not fix the issue, we will offer a replacement at no cost to you.
